DESCRIPTION:Visiting the Mabel Hartzell Historical Home is like stepping into a Victorian Alliance\, Ohio home of the 1880s-1910s.The home features many unusual antiques including a gavel table used by the GAR made from a tree stump\, an early slide projector known as a Mirrorscope\, and many kitchen/home items such as a ruffler and a hat stretcher. Quilts from our historic collection will be on display. \nA special display of the 1958 State Championship Alliance High School Football Team and the 1983 undefeated regular season team will be availble. Come and share your memories of these teams. \nA donation of $5.00 per adult is suggested. Admission for children 12 and under and members is free.

SUMMARY:Sew4Service Cleveland Baseball Quilt Raffle
DESCRIPTION:Alliance and Cleveland Chapter Volunteers have turned vintage Cleveland baseball fabric into a beautiful quilt. Staci Woolf (Alliance) pieced the quilt top and Jill Polly (Cleveland) quilted and bound the finished quilt. The handmade quilt measures 66″ x 100″\, XL Twin Size and comes with (2) 12″ square pillows and a standard size pillowcase for carrying the quilt.  ($550 value) \nTickets are $5 each\, or 6 for $20. You can buy tickets in person at the Alliance\, Euclid\, and Cleveland Chapters\, or online. Proceeds benefit the Sew4Service Alliance Chapter. \nThe raffle will take place on October 2\, 2025 around noon. You can watch the raffle drawing on Facebook Live on the Alliance Chapter Page. Winner need not be present. The winner will be contacted following the raffle to arrange for the quilt to be picked up or shipped to the winner.
