Our Board of Trustees
WILL TOLERTON, President, has served the Greater Alliance Foundation as a board member since 2010. He is an active member of the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce and serves as President of the Alliance Country Club. He was the past CEO of TTT Holdings, Inc. and is active with Alliance Area Development. Will also serves on GAF’s Development Committee.
ANDREW ZUMBAR, Vice President, has served the Greater Alliance Foundation as a board member since 2016. The Honorable Andrew Zumbar is the Alliance Municipal Court Judge who is also involved in the AHS Foundation, the Stark County Bar Association and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Andrew also serves on GAF’s Marketing Committee.
BETH MITCHELL, Treasurer, has served the Greater Alliance Foundation as a board member since 2009 and also gives her time to the Alliance Women’s Club, Alliance YMCA, Alliance WYCA,. Alliance Chamber of Commerce, and women’s groups: Sorosis and Coterie. Beth also serves on GAF’s Investment Committee.
DAMON KELLER, Secretary, has served on the Greater Alliance Foundation as a board member since 2010 and also Chairs GAF’s Marketing Committee. Damon also serves as VP of Development for the Buckeye Council Boy Scouts of America and is a member of the Cleveland Chapter – Entrepreneur’s’ Organization.
DENNIS CLUNK has served the Greater Alliance Foundation as a board member since 2018. He is associated with many community organizations including Alliance City Schools and Regina Coeli Catholic Church in addition to his professional work with local and state bar associations.
SUE GORIS has served the Greater Alliance Foundation as a board member since 2012 and serves on GAF’s Development Committee. Sue serves as a Trustee to the University of Mount Union, gives her time to the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce, the Alliance Area Development, the Greater Alliance Development Corporation and Coterie.
RANDY HUNT has served the greater community in leadership positions for the University of Mount Union, the Stark Development Board, the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Greater Alliance Development Corporation. He was appointed to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Alliance Foundation in 2018.
GERARD MASTROIANNI has served the Greater Alliance Foundation as a board member since 2012 and also participates in the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce, ArtsinStark, University of Mount Union, Alliance for Family and Children and serves on the Regional Huntington Bank Board. Gerard also chairs GAF’s Community Investment Committee.
DAVID RODMAN has served as a board member since 2008 and was the past president of the Greater Alliance Foundation for 9 years. David has owned and operated Rodman Capital Management for the past 3 decades, is a member of the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce and served as former president of the Alliance Board of Education. David currently chairs GAF’s Investment Committee.
DOUGLAS SCHWARZ serves as Executive Director and is the foundation’s leader in strategic partnerships and initiatives. Doug works toward the highest level of community impact through board administration and community and donor relations. Doug has served in this capacity for the foundation since 2006.
HEIDI McCLUNG serves the foundation as Operation Manager. Her work supports our mission through her legal and administrative expertise. She is responsible for systems management, oversees the grant and scholarship procedures and manages bookkeeping processes. She is also responsible for public relations, marketing and donor relations. Heidi has served our foundation since 2013.
MARCIE CURRY, CPA has served the Foundation as Financial Manager since 2018. She is responsible for managing financial processes including reconciling investment statements, quarterly income allocation, budget management and financial reports. She has a passion for the nonprofit world and uses her expertise in developing strategies to assist our donors.
LINDA FERGASON serves our foundation as the Director of Donor and Community Relations. She lends her talents from her long career in the non-profit sector and brings strategic direction and development to the GAF. Linda, joining the foundation in 2020, is a lifelong resident of Alliance and is passionate about our community.
