Alliance Area Office Professionals (AAOP) Scholarship

A scholarship for students pursuing an educational program/certificate/license in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Office Administration, Management, Economics, Sales or Entrepreneurship.

Complete the entire application and include all required attachments. If your application was submitted successfully, you will receive a confirmation email.

To qualify for this award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Resides in the greater Alliance area and Marlington, Alliance, Sebring, and West Branch High Schools. St. Thomas Aquinas seniors may apply if they reside in one of the above four school districts.
2. Must be a high school senior who is graduating this school year.
3. Must be pursuing a business-related program such as General Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Office Administration, Management, Economics, Sales or Entrepreneurship.
4. Must be planning to attend a higher education/continuing education school in Ohio.
5. Must be available to attend an in-person interview with our selection committee to be scheduled at the committee’s discretion in April.
6. Must be a US Citizen.

Applications are reviewed by a committee made up of AAOP members. A point-based rubric is used to review the application and determine the top candidates for in-person interviews.

To be considered, all of the above materials must be received on or before Friday,  March 21, 2025. Interviews are scheduled April 1-4, 2024 in the late afternoon.

Scholarship recipients and guardians are invited to a recognition reception in May.
