Ann McConahay Education Foundation Scholarship
The Ann McConahay Scholarship was established in honor of the late Ann McConahay. Mrs. McConahay was actively involved in many charitable activities and volunteered 7,400 hours of service to the Alliance Community. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide assistance to deserving graduates of Alliance High School to further their education.
To qualify for this scholarship the applicant must:
1. Be a graduate of Alliance High School
2. Show financial need
3. Have maintained at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA throughout high school
4. Plan to attend an accredited college, university or trade school upon graduation
To apply for this award, please submit the following:
1. A completed application form
2. A copy of your transcript
3. A copy of college, university, or trade school acceptance letter with ID number
4. One faculty reference letter on high school letterhead
5. One personal reference letter (non-school personnel)
6. A 100 word or more essay explaining why you should be awarded this scholarship and your life and career goals
In order to be considered, all of the above materials must be received by April 1st.
