Athena Scholarship Application

The ATHENA/Woman of the Year Scholarship was established in 2013 to award a one–time (non-renewable) $1,000 scholarship to a deserving female high school senior who has demonstrated community involvement, academic achievement, and leadership. Female graduating seniors residing in Alliance City, Marlington Local, West Branch Local or Sebring School districts are eligible to apply. **St. Thomas seniors may apply if they reside within those school districts.** The applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA and be accepted at a recognized institution of learning offering a post-high school curriculum. The scholarship will be awarded at the Alliance Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and announced at her respective school’s Senior Awards Program. Submit the application and all attachments no later than January 31.
