The Carnation Queen Pageant gives contestants the opportunity to learn about Alliance, make new friends, and participate in community service projects, all for the chance to be named ‘Queen.’ Each year, area girls vie for the crown to become the next Greater Alliance Carnation Queen. They also participate in social and community events, and contestants learn the true history of the great city they’ve all grown up in. The night of the Pageant, the girls showcase their personality, posture, confidence, and elegance, all competing for the tiara, but most importantly for the chance to become a role model and ambassador for the city of Alliance.
