Agency Funds are created to provide ongoing support for your favorite nonprofit organization.

Benefits:

It is a flexible, simple way for a nonprofit to build funds for a project or future need.
No upfront costs or administrative hassle and GAF accepts a wide range of assets as contributions from the organization or individual donors.
A fund is set up to give an organization the opportunity to save non-endowed dollars in a professionally managed investment fund that can generate investment income, year after year, but also remain fully accessible.
A portion of the earned income can be drawn down in set annual payments or reinvested in the fund to grow over time, according the organization’s needs.

Alliance Area Development Fund (2006)

The Alliance Area Development positively impacts retention of businesses and manufacturing and their expansion and attracts new businesses to the Alliance area. The AAD accomplishes this by assisting local businesses, area governments, and economic development organizations in building successful and complementary relationships resulting in business growth.

Alliance Community Pantry Fund (2015)

The Alliance Community Pantry works within the community to end hunger with an all-volunteer organization (no paid staff) which relies totally on the financial generosity of the community.

Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter Fund (2004)

The Alliance Area Domestic Violence Shelter empowers and assists survivors of verbal, emotional, financial, sexual, and physical abuse by providing education, resources, emergency shelter and transitional support services to those in need.

Alliance Family YMCA (Eugene Turner) Fund (2015)

The Alliance Family YMCA puts Christian principles into practice through programs that help healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

Alliance for Children & Families (2021)

Alliance for Children & Families, Inc. —through direct services, advocacy, education, prevention, intervention, supportive services, and the development and implementation of innovative and productive programming—is committed to empowering children, individuals and families to restore them to lives of stability, self-sufficiency and enhancement.

Alliance Historical Society Fund (2011)

The Alliance Historical Society was founded for the promotion of historical studies of the City of Alliance and its surrounding areas. Members of the Society collect, preserve, and organize historical materials and work with area schools and community organizations to present historical programs. The Society maintains and operates the Mabel Hartzell Historical Home and Alliance History Mini Museum.

Alliance Pregnancy Center (2021)

Alliance Pregnancy Center helps parents facing unplanned pregnancy by providing a free pregnancy test, ultrasound confirmation, and answers to questions about abortion, parenting, and adoption.

Alliance Symphony Orchestra Fund (2010)

The association fosters and promotes the musical knowledge and appreciation of the public, exclusively by educational activities, and performances of music in programs chosen primarily from literature of symphonic music in the Alliance area.

Alliance YWCA Facility Fund (2007)

The Alliance YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting speech, justice, freedom and dignity for all.

Beech Creek Botanical Gardens Fund (2018)

Beech Creek Botanical Gardens (BCBG) believes that quality of life and the health of the environment are interdependent and that an understanding of nature improves the lives of individuals. BCBG provides educational opportunities and interactive experiences that inspire people to be good stewards of their communities and world.

Castle Crusaders Fund (2009)

Castle Crusaders maintains the enhancement, preservation and protection of the Glamorgan Castle that sits on twenty acres owned by the Alliance City Schools. Col. William Henry Morgan built this home and each year thousands of visitors come to admire the beauty and uniqueness of this Alliance landmark.

Carnation City Players Fund (2012)

Carnation City Players (CCP) is a volunteer-based, performing arts organization located in Alliance’s historic Firehouse Theater. CCP’s mission is to foster the enrichment of the performing arts throughout the community and present and produce a wide variety of quality live theater productions.

Early Childhood Education Alliance (2020)

For more than ten years, the Early Childhood Education Alliance has been focused on providing quality early childhood experiences for children and families in Alliance, Ohio. Thanks to their partners, ECEA is able to connect families with resources and programs that ensure children enter kindergarten ready to succeed. ECEA believes it is important to EDUCATE, ADVOCATE, and COLLABORATE because early experiences last a lifetime.

Friends of the Parks Cemetery Fund (2007)

The Alliance City Cemetery was established in 1826. This fund was established by probate order for the perpetual care of the Spring-Kinsbury burial plot and the George and Ada Shem burial plots along with any other charitable purpose that the Friends of the Parks deems appropriate.

Friends of the Parks General Fund (2007)

Friends of the Parks develops awareness and appreciation of the Alliance park system consisting of 220 acres and 24 parks for recreational purposes.

Stuckey Family Interfaith Child Development Center (2022)

Stuckey Family Interfaith Child Development Center is an education focused child development center empowering families, their staff members, and the community to nurture children and embrace diversity.
