Michael’s World’s mission is to provide aged and size appropriate clothing to children age 1 month to middle school. Our underlying goal, substantiated by research studies, is based on the belief that a child who is clothed well will also be a child with more self-confidence, higher self-esteem and a positive self-image versus a child in ‘ill-fitting hand-me-downs’ that create low feelings of self-worth. Children who feel good about themselves are children who have more propensity to achieve good things and succeed in school, relationships and life. For every donation to this Together Fund between $100 and $5,000, GAF will provide a matching grant of 5% and return the original donation to Michael’s World to further their mission.
