If you’re in the top federal tax bracket, this one matters: Starting in 2026, the tax benefit of itemized deductions, including charitable giving, will be capped at 35%, even if you're paying taxes in the 37% bracket.
What does that mean? A lower deduction value.
For example: A $100,000 charitable gift by a taxpayer with $1M AGI may provide a $37,000 tax benefit in 2025, but only $33,250 in 2026.
If you’re planning a major gift, 2025 may be the year to do it.
In 2024, CCP launched its Setting the Stage Capital Projects Campaign to tackle essential upgrades to the theater. Thanks to incredible community generosity and partnership, $75,000 was raised to complete all three phases this summer.
Here’s how it came together: - $25,000 grant from the Greater Alliance Foundation - $25,000 matching challenge grant from GAF - $25,000 contributed by CCP donors to unlock that full match
These funds are making it possible to complete all three phases: Phase One: Restoring the aging stage floor Phase Two: Replacing worn, non–fire-resistant curtains Phase Three: Installing state-of-the-art LED and moving lights
GAF is honored to support CCP’s long-term success through its Agency Fund and Scholarship Fund, helping the arts flourish in Alliance for years to come.
Congratulations to CCP and thank you to the generous donors who made this achievement possible! ... See MoreSee Less
