Greater Alliance Foundation Launches First-Ever Annual Campaign to Strengthen the Future of Alliance
For the first time in its history, the Foundation is launching an Annual Campaign to invite the entire community to join in shaping the future of Alliance. In a typical year, more than $1 million dollars is awarded to nonprofits strengthening those that serve our area. The campaign aims to raise $100,000 in unrestricted support to help GAF stay responsive to emerging needs and partner with local nonprofits, creating a lasting impact.

Greater Alliance Foundation Awards Nearly $875,000 in Grants in First Half of FY25
The Greater Alliance Foundation (GAF) has awarded nearly $875,000 in grants in the first six months of Fiscal Year 2025 to support vital community projects in Alliance, OH. Funding has been directed toward initiatives such as domestic violence support, youth STEM education, food security, home repairs, and park improvements. These grants reflect GAF’s dedication to enhancing the quality of life for residents and addressing critical community needs. Celebrating a Year of Change
We hope the latest edition of our newsletter finds you well. A great deal has been happening since our Annual Report.
We wrapped up our year-end board meeting last night and it was a good moment to look back and look ahead.
Our board reviewed our performance for Fiscal Year 2025 and the progress we’ve made across the community this year, along with an in depth presentation from our partners at Clearstead, who shared about our investment performance and oversight, making sure that every dollar that is entrusted to us is handled with the most care possible.
Did you know that as a community foundation along with our family of donors, we granted over $2.4 million into our community?
We also spent time talking through the exciting affordable housing opportunity we’re exploring with several partners across the city, a project we believe can make a real difference for local families.
We closed the evening with a conversation about the future of philanthropy in our community and how the Foundation can continue to grow and serve.
